I'm an Interactive Media Major with a concentration in Web and Application Design, and a Computer Science minor at Bradley University. I have the skills to articulate my ideas in a mock up and implement them on the front end, and the coding background to develop and understand what goes in to the back end.

So why do I want to go in to web and application design? Because what interests me most is how people interact with technology everyday. People have become more and more connected to technology and it doesn't look like that's going to slow down anytime soon. What I'm most passionate about is UI and UX design. I strive to try and gain a greater understanding of how people interact with technology they use everyday, and use that understanding to think about new ways to integrate technology in to the world around us. I want my future to be in creating deliverables that have a design that is both intelligent and contextually appropriate, and a user experience thats so good users never even notice, but simply enjoy using.

When I'm not behind a computer I love running, watching a good movie, and playing or watching almost any sport.

I'm ready to work or live anywhere and am excited to start working with a team making juicy creative digital goodness.

BUGO Mobile App

BUGO is a Mobile app developed for Bradley University to spread awareness of campus events and increase attendance. BUGO provides a list of all of the events on campus. Each event has its own view, providing the event details. Through the Google Maps API, each event, sorted by category, is shown in its location. I was part of a team that developed the app using the Titanium Studio framework, created by Appcelerator. We wrote the app in JavaScript. All of the information is pulled from a Drupal backend via SQ Lite. The app was developed for iOS, Android, and iPad.

Mobile App College

Mobile App College is a Drupal site centered around the publication of mobile application reviews and articles. The content caters specifically to college students with articles like "5 Games to Get You Through Finals". I was part of the senior level team that launched the site as an excercise in SEO. Google "mobile app college", or "Eric Adams mobile app" and see how we did. While the site is constantly in flux as it is handed over from class to class, the majority of the site design and development, as well as the articles that I wrote for publication are still accessible.

Gator Evader

Gator Evader is a game developed for android tablets produced in the class Computer Game Design. I was the Lead on a the Marketing Team and did majority of the sites structure and styling. About the only thing I didn't do was the implement the image slider and the javascript for the "Team" section. The site was a hero page to showcase the game, how the team made it, and the team itself. Gator Evader is now in beta and the web version can be played on the site, with the final build coming soon to the Android Marketplace.

Play America Live

Play America Live was a double edged effort as a PR campaign for the Bradley University theatre production "America Live", as well as a medium for collecting mobile usage statistics. On the PR side, I was part of a team that created a viral campaign to garner attention for the contest. I was also a memeber of the backend database team that collected the contest participant's mobile usage statistics as they texted in answers to questions to win an iPad. Utilyzing PHP, MySQL, and Google Anylytics, we were able to dertermine if people utilized texting, QR codes, or mobile web to answer our call to action. We also created a script to compile and organize the data, exporting the statistics by the amount of responses per medium.
